MARTHA STEWART WEDDINGS As senior editor, I worked with MSW's creative director to reimagine "The Planner," a recurring section in every issue which was nominated for "Best Magazine Section" at the 2018 Ellie Awards. I also wrote and edited food, fashion, decor and destination wedding features and had the pleasure of speaking with dozens of happy couples.
JETSETTER As the Managing Editor at this luxury travel website, I oversaw Jetsetter’s creative team, as well as wrote, assigned and edited hotel reviews and travel features. I also got to do a lot of jetsetting myself to report on hotels in destinations near and far.
TRIP SAVVY - I wrote roundups, profiles, news stories, and first-person features on my own travels around the world as the Hotels Editor at this popular travel site.
HAMPTONS MAGAZINE A contributing editor to Niche Media’s weekly summertime publication Hamptons, I edited front-of-book stories (like “Chef’s Table” featuring a Q&A and recipe from top culinary talents and the “Beach Bites” food news page) as well as features. I also produced recurring sections like “Cheers” and “Privet Party”, where I worked with top East End personalities to produce recipes and parties to be featured exclusively in the magazine.
NYO: THE NEW YORK OBSERVER MAGAZINE I served as the deputy editor on the relaunch issues of NYO, the New York Observer‘s lifestyle magazine. I edited the front-of-book section, which included topics ranging from travel to food to art. I also edited restaurant and travel-related features, as well as wrote profiles on prolific New Yorkers, like this story on one of my photography heroes, Harry Benson.
BRIDES.COM and BRIDES LOCAL MAGAZINES For five years I was the travel editor/managing editor of Brides.com and Brides Local Magazines, Conde Nast’s 16 regional wedding publications. I edited the “Honeymoons & Destinations” section both in print and online, which involved traveling to many of the world's most romantic destinations solo. I also produced service and style features in the magazine and on the website, and managed the relaunch of Brides.com, which included the Webby-honored “Aisle Say” blog.
